Legality: All timber products are acquired, harvested, produced, processed, transported, and traded in accordance with the local legislations through the Guyana Timber Legality Assurance System (GTLAS) and the Guyana Forest Act. This is also aligned with several international forest management and certification principles.
We take pride in our product. Our Greenheart and Mora crossties and pilings do not require any chemical treatment so there is nothing to leach back into the earth. Our crossties are geared more towards problematic areas where water stands near your tracks. Greenheart and Mora ties will outlast standard treated crossties thus giving you a cost savings by reducing tie changeout.
Our
Story
Get to Know Us
Alliance Crossties and Pilings started in January of 2023. I have been involved with rail track repair in the general industry, in some form or fashion for nearly 20 years. I have experimented with different ties from standard to composite only to keep finding issues from breaking at the tie plate to ends splitting. I discovered the exotic hardwood through a contact that is a partner in a mill in Guyana South America. After a year of research and reading test reviews, I decided to install one tie. The tie that I had installed was a 7-year-old and has held perfect for over a year to date.
January 2023, I started Alliance to help other railroad repair companies that are experiencing the same trouble I was having. These ties are not meant to replace ties in well drained non problematic areas. Please contact me for more information on our ties and pilings.
